Why create a free website?  To show your accomplishments and your plans for the future.
Students in California at High Tech High schools use "DPs" (digital portfolios) to show college admission officers the essays that they wrote and the posters and projects that they created.

Here are some tips
Blogger lets the students reflect (think about) the projects that they did.

Google Docs lets you create word documents.
Google Slides lets you create powerpoints (slide presentations).
Drive hold your presentations and files.
Google Sites lets you create a free website.
Photos.Google.com lets you store your photos that you take on your mobile phone.

You have 15 gigs of free storage space on Google Drive.  If you create the file on Google docs or Slides or Numbers, the storage of that file is free.
