"Only in still water can we see ourselves." -- the importance of reflection (when making a digital portfolio)

We Cannot See Our Reflection
March 19th, 2011
GO here
“We cannot see our reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.”
We need reminders to quiet our thoughts, quiet our minds.  It is very difficult to be mindful and reflect on ourselves with many other thoughts running through our heads.  These thoughts can be desires, anger, worries, and concerns about the past or future.  We must learn to quiesce these thoughts, to slow our faucet of incoming thoughts so the water this is our mind is still.  Our minds are quiet.
